Get me back on track

I received an email the other day from an Ideal Life Planner™ user that i want to share with you. It gave me inspiration to help get me back on track without me noticing I was off track, She said how much she liked it and whenever she read it she thought of me and wished me well. She went on to say that she didn’t always take the time to use the planner every day. Well, I wrote her right back, thanked her for the email and said I had to be perfectly honest with her. I told her that some days I didn’t use the planner I created either. Even though I know so much better, I too get carried away with my busy schedule and don’t do what I know I need to do.

I have found that on those days that I don’t make a plan for my day, don’t acknowledge all that I am grateful for, don’t take the time to track my positive and healthy food choices are exactly the days that don’t go as well for me. I lose sight of my purpose, eat junk food, and forget to take a 10 minute break here and there to relax or meditate and find myself seeing my day in a more negative light. It happens to all of us. It is so easy to get sidetracked no matter how hard we try to stay on track, live with purpose and clarity, and peace.

The great thing is I have everything I need to immediately get me back on track. It is all right there for me, waiting for me. My planner won’t yell at me or make me feel bad. I specifically made sure I set it up so it couldn’t.

There is no deadline on when we get it right. We might always be wavering from good choices vs. poor choices that we think will feel good at the moment, but don’t support us. The important message is to never quit. Yesterday is simply, so, well, yesterday. It could be ten o’clock at night and your entire day might have been terrible. It has to be okay, because you can’t change the past.

Take a few minutes you would normally spend dwelling on the negative and plan how your next hour is going to go. Plan how tomorrow will be different and write out what it is that you are going to do that will make it different. One small step in a different direction will take you to a different place. Remember, no one can do it for you, but you can do it! Anytime you start over, you are taking the gift of what you learned with you.

Be at peace with where you are right now and keep in your mind the powerful Affirmation to hand “Get me back on track” remember fortune and achievement favor’s the prepared mind.

CHOOSE TO BE HAPPY

Choose To Be Happy!

To receive a joy-filled and positive outcome to your present situations and circumstances, start directing your feelings, your responses, and your reactions to better thoughts!  Becoming aware of your power and your great capability to positively control your thoughts can change the outcome of everything.  Start by becoming more consciously aware of the moments that you feel joy and fulfillment. Easier said than done?  Great thing about this is that you can do it anywhere without any equipment.  It just takes a small amount of awareness of what you are thinking about all day long. Trust that finding what makes you feel happy is truly best for you.  The greatest thing you can do for your family, your friends, and co-workers is to simply feel good.  Choose joy!  You have amazing insight in finding the Good, the Message, or the Opportunity in all your actions. Commit each day to practice redirecting just a couple of situations to a positive outcome.

Look for the delight, excitement, and contentment as you plan and schedule your daily activities!
